Maureen Jennings is a British-Canadian author best known for her Detective Murdoch mystery series, set in late-Victorian Toronto. Born in Birmingham, England, she emigrated to Canada and became a psychotherapist before turning to writing. Her Murdoch Mysteries novels were adapted into the long-running Canadian television series of the same name.
